The Sport Clips app gives you the information you need to plan your visit.

With the app, you can:

How Does Sport Clips Online Check-In Work?

Checking in through the Sport Clips app only takes a few steps:

Find a Store

Use your current location or search by city, state, or ZIP code.

View Estimated Wait Times

Choose your time to visit a location later that day or check in right away.

Select a Stylist

Choose a specific Stylist, when available, or select the first available option.

Enter Your Information

Add your name and mobile number to complete your check-in.

Track Your Wait

Follow your estimated wait time in the app and head to the store when your timeframe gets closer.

Why Should I Enable Location Services?

Enabling location services allows the Sport Clips app to quickly identify nearby stores and display options based on your current location.

Sport Clips App FAQs

  • Does Sport Clips Take Appointments?

    We do not require traditional appointments. You can walk in or use Online Check-In to add your name to the list before you arrive.

    Online Check-In is designed to make your visit more convenient by showing estimated wait times and helping you choose when to head to the store. It does not reserve an exact service time.

  • Can I Select a Time to Check-In Ahead of Time?

    Yes! The app now allows you to select a time in the future (same day only) to join the lineup. Again, this is not an appointment, but will put you into the lineup at that designated timeframe. Choose your store, Join the Lineup, and then select a preferred time window under “Service start time.”

  • Are Sport Clips Wait Times Accurate?

    The app displays an estimated wait time based on current store activity, the Stylist you select, and the services being provided.

    Because haircut times and store traffic can change, the estimate may increase or decrease after you check in. Use the app’s real-time Haircut Tracker to follow your updated wait.

  • Can I Choose My Stylist in the App?

    Yes. When a Stylist is available for Online Check-In, you may select that Stylist before completing your check-in.

    You can also choose the first available Stylist if you would prefer the shortest estimated wait. Stylist options vary by location, schedule, and availability.

  • What Happens When I Arrive?

    When you arrive at the store, follow the arrival instructions provided in the app or check in with a team member.

    Be sure to enable location settings for the most convenient experience.

  • Is the Sport Clips app free?

    Yes. The Sport Clips app is free to download for supported iPhone and Android devices.

  • Do I need an account to check in?

    Yes. Be sure to opt in to marketing messages for special offers and birthday discounts. Refer to our Privacy Policy for how we protect your information.

  • How early should I arrive?

    Monitor your estimated wait time and plan to arrive before your name reaches the top of the list. Arriving late may affect your position.

  • Can I cancel my Online Check-In?

    Yes. Open the app and click on “Cancel Visit.” Alternatively, if you receive a confirmation text, you can respond with the term Cancel, and you’ll receive a prompt to ensure you want to cancel your Online Check-in.

  • Can I Check In Without Downloading the App?

    Yes. You can use Sport Clips Online Check-In through a web browser without downloading the app.

    Select Check In Online, search for a nearby store, review estimated wait times, and enter your information to save your place in line. And we always take walk-ins!

  • How does Guest Check-in work? Can I add my child to my account?

    We will ask you “Who’s Getting a Cut” when you join the lineup. Under your name, you will see an option to “Add a new guest.” After entering their information, your guest is now saved to your account and you can select them in the future by clicking “Add a new guest.” You can select up to four people to be on your profile.
